ABCHoopsNYC is a basketball league for young professionals working in New York City that aims for an affordable yet competitive atmosphere.

The league has an extremely extensive website which even got it noticed by SLAM magazine. While individual and team stats are included on most league websites, ABCHoopsNYC goes a step further. Each team has its own homepage with per-game averages, cumulative stats, and schedules. The league homepage spotlights members with features like “Meet the Player,” “Players of the Week,” and a leaderboard.

Games are played in two locations -Weekend games are played at 439 West 49th St. between 9th and 10th Avenues in Hells Kitchen close to the C, E, 1, N, Q, and R trains.
Weekday and weekend games are played at 411 Pearl Street on the Lower East Side, near the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, A, C, J, and Z trains.

The Fall 2012 mens basketball league begins the weekend of September 15th and is split between a Saturday League and a Sunday League.

Sign-up fees include 7 games plus one playoff game and include referee fees. New teams receive 10 t-shirts and have the option of purchasing reversible jerseys for $150.

Pricing for the fall is $180 for individuals before August 15th and $190 after the 15th.
New teams pay $1400 before August 15th and $1500 after the 15th.
Returning teams pay $1200 before August 15th and $1300 after the 15th.

Every game includes two veteran referees, stat keepers, glass backboards, and an electronic scoreboard.
Each game has two 20-minute halves and follows NCAA rules.

ABCHoopsNYC also hosts events and giveaways. Its biggest hit is a 3-Point Contest where the winner is awarded a new pair of Air Jordans. The company also offers gym rentals for parties and corporate events which can include referees, scorekeepers, photographers, and videographers.
